Use bright indirect light. Direct hot sun can bleach or crisp leaves.
Water well, then let the pot drain. Do not keep the crown wet and cold.
A slightly snug pot is fine. Huge pots stay wet too long for small starts.
Trim brown tips with clean scissors if they bother you, but fix the watering or salt issue too.
In winter, slow down watering when the plant is not growing as fast.
